About me
Tuyen Bui is an Assistant Research Scientist at the Center for Prevention Research and Development (CPRD), School of Social Work, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). She received her PhD in Social Work from UIUC and her MSW from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She has been working at CPRD since 2016 and participated in multiple program evaluation teams on home visiting, substance use prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, and opioid use disorders. Prior to joining CPRD, she worked as program coordinators and social workers for multiple international projects in Southeast Asia working on child protection, youth runaway intervention, anti-child trafficking, case management for people with disabilities, and transition services for youth with difficult circumstances.
