About me
Manuela is currently a graduate student in the iMSW program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She obtained a B.A. in English and Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2016 and served as a high school English teacher with Peace Corps Madagascar from 2018 to 2020. She is a first-generation Syrian American and has been particularly interested in exploring third culture identities in order to better connect with and support the first-generation community. In her free time, Manuela enjoys climbing, playing video games, and reading.
