About me
Todimu is an emerging scholar and MSW candidate at Illinois State University, where her research sits at the intersection of social work, media literacy, and youth psychosocial wellbeing. She holds an MA in English Rhetoric and Writing and is the developer of the REAL Framework, a pedagogical model addressing algorithmic influence on the mental health and critical consciousness of young people from marginalized communities. Her current research examines how AI-generated misinformation shapes adolescent mental health help-seeking behavior, with a particular focus on vulnerable subgroups including rural youth and LGBTQ+ adolescents. She serves as a peer reviewer for the National Council of Teachers of English.
